They have the most unique egg bagels. They are so chewy and bouncy and are slightly sweet - a wonderful, perfectly flavor. I got them regularly during my time at Columbia, and everytime I’m in New York, I buy a dozen and bring them home to my family. I have never had an egg bagel like this before. I’ve tried other places’ before, but they are never like this. I heard absolute bagels is closing for good, but I wanted to please ask them to please remain open or at least transfer ownership! These egg bagels are too special. I am coming to New York in January with my fiancé, largely with the intention of grabbing these bagels!!!

Probably the best bagel I've had in the last 20 years. Cream cheese is house made with about a dozen flavors. I got a plain bagel with blueberry cream cheese and savoured the last bite. My brother got an egg bagel with bacon-and-cheese cream cheese, he really enjoyed it. Line was long but moving and prices are very reasonable. Very traditional cash only bagel shop.

Delicious bagels, most of them cost 5.50, and they charge an extra 10 cents to toast the bread. The place is always packed on Sunday mornings. The staff is friendly. They don’t accept cards. Go for it!

Customer keeps coming, despite that it is fast moving queue. Generous amount, egg is so fluffy and nice like pudding! I appreciate it. Bagel is fresh and nice too! They only accept cash so do note that. Thankful the cashier is patient with me ordering for the first time as well. Good experience! No dine in.
